Make a Quick Ice Cream Sundae

Sundae

At this time of year, thoughts turn to the Holidays, buying and receiving presents … and desserts after every meal!  While I love making pastries and whipping up cheesecakes, it is so hectic this time of year that I sometimes find myself looking for a simple sweet tooth fixer.

This recipe is a playful thing I came up with for the children visiting our restaurant.  We could use plain chocolate syrup upon request to make them happy if orange flavoring seemed too “yucky”.  Mom and Dad would swipe a bite and presto, they became a fan, too.  We called it “Mona’s Sundae”.
